Captains Day 2025

This years Captains Day took place on Sunday 3rd August 2025.

£1,256 was raised in aid of East Anglian Air Ambulance.

Yesteryear Prop Hire kindly lent us one of their crazy golf games on the day

Captains Charity Hazard - Effective 28 May 2025

The Captains have introduced a new £1 fine for members that go into the water hazard in front of the 4th Green. The fine is capped at £1 per round, regardless of how many times you go into the hazard. Payments to be made in the charity pot in the clubhouse.

Bunkers GUR - Updated 27 Jul 2025

Update Sunday 27th July 2025 - Following ground staff support, please find a list of the new updated local rules that will be in place with immediate effect until further notice:

BUNKERS 1, 2, 3, 5 (2x Fairway Bunkers), 6, 7, 8, 10, 11, 13 (Greenside)

All bunkers listed above are back in play.

BUNKERS 3 (rear of green), 5 (Greenside), 9, 12, 13 (Fairway), 14, 15, 16, 17 GUR

All these bunkers will be GUR until further improvements have been made. I shall try to check these have all been marked with GUR signs so you can easily identify them.

This means 12 of the 18 holes are now fully or partially back in play.

Please remember to rake the bunkers you have played from to help to continue the support of their maintenance

Please apply rule 16 correctly and do not move your ball to its new relief position until your playing partners have agreed with your use of the rule.

Preferred lies - This has now been removed with immediate effect - please remember to replace divots that you make when playing shots to try to protect the course.
