We were all out in force, 23 ladies, no less, having arrived to play on the Sunday morning, only to abandon half way due to the thunder storm. Some stalwarts braved the rain and continued, enjoying the excellent course, others relaxed & enjoyed the views….
As usual, we gathered for Captain’s pre-dinner drinks , which was enhanced by “ OOSSSS & AGHS” watching a Wimbledon “humdinger”…..
After dinner fun was had playing the “Touch & Feel” game , & Captain Trisha was presented with an exceptional momento of the season, a Manchester City garden gnome!!
The main team stableford competition was played on Monday in lovely sunshine. A great day was finished with prize giving and thanks expressed to everyone for making the weekend memorable.
We missed the company of several of our friends who were unable to make it this time …..but there’s always next year!!
